Havok, I still have issues with the EDIT button. I already deleted all the cookies for the old sites, and reloaded this one, but now the issue is with the News Articles feeds. After I post on any News article I don't have an EDIT button available.
Also, I noticed that when you're in a News Article there is no link to go back to the Forums on the top. I don't know if that is intended or if it's an error.
I completely forgot to put one in, I guess I'll do that now as I'm already making some more button graphics. I'll double check on the edit button. Is it just on the news page?
I also added a new changes to the login screen. Sure at first glance it may look a little complicated with two new options. The first, "Remember me" is kind of a standard feature that we really should have always had. By default it is checked which will store your cookies for 6 months like before. But now you can uncheck that box and it will expire your cookie as soon as you close the browser. This is handy if you are viewing the site at work or school and are worried about forgetting to log out.
The second change made to the login is a choice now on where to go. Before it would take you to the last page you were going to go before you hit a login screen. Now it will ask you if you want to go to that page or go to the forums. This is handy if you click the "Membership Login" button at the top of the page on the forums and are irriated with having to hit the forum button just to go back, now for us lazy people it will take us back automatically.

like zerg said, i liked the old format how it was, its kind of hard to navagate to just the post that have been updated recentely. also on the
what's new there seems to get an error where it says someone posted a thread, and it isn't that person who actually posted. most of the
time it is on new threads where only the original poster is the only person that has posted. example, new thread got posted, said it was by kal but
was actually by kieran, no replys at all in thread
edit: disregard the part about the side bar thing, i saw you added it today, didn't notice till now.

Thats usually because someone will reply to that post, then delete their post. It doesn't update the thread's records of lastpost which it probably should. I'll have to recode how that works so this weekend may be better for that.
Which part of the navigation are you having problems with? Let me know and I'll work something out to fix those problems

The EDIT button issue appears only on News posts as far as I can see.
Check the lack of links to go back to the forum as well, since I don't see them anywhere, so in order to go back to the forums I have to
actually relay on the top "Forum" index in order to go there.

Hmm strange, looks ok on my machine. Bet I screwed something up back end anyways, Ill double check that. Thanks
Oh and good, glad thats working as well Kal.
The news now will solely use that editor, and quotes now work in it as well. Just because the whole jumping to a new page thing is boring I'll also be adding one to the forums as another option, and quotes will be added to blogs / community updates as well (and edits for that too but not right away).

Ok I stayed up real late and added the following things as requested by members:
- Quick reply added to the bottom of threads
- News has the editor at the bottom instead of a new page
- You can now multi-quote in news, blogs and community updates
- You can now EDIT your comments on blogs and community updates
- Editing and deleting blogs or comments in blogs will auto redirect you back now
- Added usernames and better date formating to all blogs and community updates
- The news and thread quickie boxes have reminders that they can use the forums if they dont want to use the advanced wysiwyg editor and includes a link to the normal reply page.
- Any link to old forum domains like forums.fesgaming.com or fesforums.com will now redirect to their equivilant link on these forums. Example: fesforums.com/index.php?ref=topic&tid=000000 would redirect to fesgaming.com/forums/board/000000
- When a post is edited, replied to, removed or a new thread is created, the notice for the update is now in green like all member services to avoid confusion.
- Moderators can no longer move a post accidently into a category instead of a forum.
- The BBCode help button next to the textbox will now direct to the BBCode help subject instead of the help section and will pop into a new window to avoid erasing your typed message.
- Timezones have been added to the thread view as well as a link to change the timezone from your preferences. Timezones have also been added to all new edit messages.
- Edit messages now have styles inside the editor to show it is seperated from your message and prevent it from being extra-large. Fixed a bug where edit message class code was being stripped by php's stripslash commands.

To Havok:
I noticed that the "Quick reply" box in the News threads has a lot of text editing tools, but threads under other categories (like this one for
example) only have a white text box. Is that intended?
