In Memory of Sabretooth »

"On a sunny afternoon, a drunk driver struck a young man outside his home with his old rusted down pickup truck. The man would then undergo countless surgeries and wait hours for tests as he was being treated for his multiple injuries. Today, I am sad to report that one of our own was this man, Adam Waynesky, a Dark Jedi member and good friend to the many people who knew him. To some, he was a helpful graphic artist who enjoyed coding and setting up Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy maps and mod packages, with several in the works. To others, he was the friendly and sometimes stubborn Dark Jedi hardliner known as Sabretooth, who loved the Dark Jedi, and worked hard in the Arcana Knights as a Master with the rank of Knight.

Sabretooth, Adam, will be solely missed by all of us in the Force Elite Soldiers. Our hearts go out to those whom may feel the most affected with the loss, his good friends Warrior and Mercenery, and the many Arcana Knights and Dark Jedi that knew him as a good member and friend. We will be having a memorial for Adam, as we have for the past two fallen comrades, Banshee and Daemon, as is our tradition. A date will be announced at a later date." - Matok (Febuary 02, 2004)

[Tehmok] Ok lets begin please.
[Tehmok] Thank you all for coming tonight.
[Tehmok] Tonight, we recognize a friend and fellow member, Adam,
[Tehmok] or better known as Sabretooth, we we have lost to the pains of death less then a few weeks ago.
[Tehmok] Adam was known as a good Dark Jedi member.
[Tehmok] He was a game programmer who enjoyed working on maps and other game items for Jedi Outcast.
[Tehmok] He also was a loyal follower of the Order during its stressful times, and a good friend to many who knew him.
[Tehmok] In his passing, he leaves many good friends behind,
[Tehmok] Noteably our good wishes go out to Warrior and Mercenery,
[Tehmok] Both who have lost a friend in death only in May and were also good friends with Sabretooth both online and offline.
[Tehmok] Now I will have this memorial turned over to the members, please send a message to Matok and if you would like to say something.
[Tehmok] And please note, on the request of his brother, we would like to keep this memorial shorter then what we have done in the past.
[Tehmok] Thank you.
* Tehmok bows low and leaves the podium *

[Matok] Thank you Tehmok
[Matok] Ok well I'm going to hand the first note to Razik
[Matok] Since I believe he wanted to add something in.

[Razik] Im not here to tell you what a great person Sabre was, because hell all you guys know it,
[Razik] He was a good friend to all and stood tall in the toughest of times,
[Razik] and was one of the serveral who help me see that fes is where i am ment to be
[Razik] It seems like only yesterday we spoke
[Razik] and it saddens me to see such a great person go
[Razik] Rest in peace my friend
* Razik sits down *

[Matok] Thank you Razik
[Matok] Ok we'll let Gary go next then, Gary?

[scarygary] Even though i did not know saber alot for i had only met him once in this chatroom before a meeting. to me he was a nice man
[scarygary] and a nice person to his second family the fes and of course the dj
[scarygary] I think what i can say on behalf of the dj and myself we will trully miss him
* scarygary sits down *

[Matok] Thank you
[Matok] Well now we will let a good friend of Adam speak, Warrior

[Warrior] Thank you
[Warrior] Gee, Im never good at this... Sabretooth was a great guy
[Warrior] He loved being around people, and making people happy
[Warrior] Although he had lost interest in direct competitive gaming after several events involved him in his history with us,
[Warrior] he immediately enjoyed going into map making and other game design items
[Warrior] He was a not only a great member of my sect in the Dark Jedi, but a good friend
[Warrior] He was a great guy to talk to on problems, and helped me alot during the loss of my cousin in May
[Warrior] We had a lot of stressful times together
[Warrior] Not only the events of May, but the months that followed
[Warrior] And the later months of a new DJ shift in politics
[Warrior] But he stood string with all of us through all the problems and glory times
* Warrior takes a step back and salutes *
[Warrior] Good luck to his family and friend, may he rest in peace
[Warrior] Thank you

[Matok] Thank you Warrior
[Matok] Ok we'll let Durok go up next, then Maw

[Durok] Thanks Matok
[Durok] Well I dont want to just come up here and tell you what a great friend he was,
[Durok] but he was in all honesty one of the best friends Ive had here in the DJ
[Durok] We both joined the club at the same time
[Durok] Around January 2002
[Durok] He may have been a bit.. cynicle to others, but he put his heart into everything he did.
[Durok] Thanks Sab for being a great member and great friend here
[Durok] And I will make it my priority to finish everything I have been handed down from your brother as soon as possible. *salutes*

[Matok] Ok thanks Durok
[Matok] And Maw, we'll let you go up next. If anyone has anything else to say during this, please message me now. Thank you.

[mawman] Thankie
[mawman] Well man, this was a blow to me personally
[mawman] We worked on many projects over this year together
[mawman] We even planned on launching a new file center with all the files he was working on
[mawman] He was a good active member to the community in terms of all the work he put in behind the scenes
[mawman] He really enjoyed working on games
[mawman] He completed his first year of University on game design only two months ago
[mawman] He really wanted to impress everyone with his abilities and put a lot of time into his maps, never wanting to release them until they were perfect
[mawman] He had a lot of faith in the commanders of the club, and tried to limit himself from any political situation as much as possible
[mawman] Durinf the trying times of May last year, he tried to keep an unbiased opinion as much as possible
[mawman] And calmed many of us down actually during those events
[mawman] Who knows, I probably could have been some of the few that snapped during that situation without his help then
[mawman] Well I don't know what to say, I was stuck with Daemon.. now Sab.. its just.. hard :/
[mawman] Thank you buddy for everything you've done for me, for the DJ and for the FES
[mawman] You will always be remembered by me as a good friend and Im sure many here will keep you in memory as well.
* mawman bows low, and leaves the podium *

[Matok] Ok thank you Maw
[Matok] We're going to let Gwaythiel have the last one for tonight, go ahead Gwaythiel.

[Gwaythiel] Well, even though I didn't meet Sabretooth personally, I hold respect for him as a fellow member of FES
[Gwaythiel] I am glad to see his memory lives within the hearts of his friends as that makes our souls ethernal.
[Gwaythiel] Farewell Sabretooth although you'll stay with us forever, alive as a sweet memory in our hearts.
[Gwaythiel] Thank you

[Matok] Thanks

* Gwaythiel bows and leaves smiling slightly *

[Matok] Sabretooth's brother wanted to be here for this tonight
[Matok] But he damaged his internet connection this morning and instead sent a message from a friends house in which to say here
[Matok] "My brother realy loved gaming, infact we could never get him off the damn computer"
[Matok] "He spent a lot of time thinking and drawing, always planning something or talking to someone"
[Matok] "Thanks guys for making him happy and not hurting him like many other groups have done to him in the past"
[Matok] "I am sure when he past on, he knew you all loved him and I am thankful. Good luck guys on your work and keep enspiring people"
[Matok] And with that, we will close this memorial tonight.
[Matok] Thank you for coming.
[Matok] Remaining comments can be posted on the message boards,
[Matok] or forwarded to Warrior or other DJ members in private
* Matok bows his head and ends the memorial *
