About the Division »
Created to be the Force Elite Soldier\\\'s ground forces, the Shadow Army has evolved past its black-armored Stormtrooper role into a highly organized and effective fighting force in several action-packed first person shooters including Battlefield 2142, Planetside and Star Wars Battlefront II with plans to expand into Command & Conquer Tiberium on its release.

With a rich history there is much to behold within the ranks of the armed forces. The division was created in early 2002 to expand the Force Elite Soldier\\\'s gaming capacity and was simplistically named the Imperial Army. The Army began its gaming launch with Jedi Knight, Counterstrike and Red Faction but became highly noticed and organized in Command & Conquer Renegade where many members from this era still play today.

The Shadow Army got its name under the command of GM Matok in late 2002 with the first of many sweeping changes that would bring the small division into the big leagues and become a first person shooter powerhouse. Since the changes involved in 2003 the Shadow Army has been on top of its game, participating in top action events, gaining a reputation for brutal efficiency of a military in their game play and a fun environment for players to be involved with. Since then many games have gone through its ranks such as Call of Duty, Halo, C&C Generals, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2.

Today the Army is on a new path with popular games such as Battlefield 2142. Lead by an excellent group of officers and commanders and backed by its strong member base, the Shadow Army enjoys its gaming status as one of the top players. It has torn through Star Wars Battlefront and its sequel to win several top tournaments in many leagues with many members even gaining special status for high kills, brutal tactics and teamwork. With such distinction the Army plans on several new events and leagues of their own under the War Games banner where for 2007-2008 gaming season weve had 85 guilds and clans participate in hopes to topple the army reign.

As we approach 2009 we have a new gaming season and a new gaming league series with many exciting changes to come. We are the Shadow Army. Strong, proud and still kicking some serious ass. Hoo-Ah!
