JUNE 2010 Reports »
Jun 19, 2010 | Black Sword Fleet | By Reaper
With a tremendous amount of organizing changes, subgroup updates and commander position shifts, the Fleet has gained a fresh view over the last few months on our operations and efficiency. Changing up the old guard is important every so often.

Galactic Civil War

To start we'll focus on General Rommel's favorite portion, the Galactic Civil War. Overall, yes we are losing the war, at least as Imperials on a global-server level. Server wise we aren't doing too bad. It's no secret that Imperials are struggling on Starsider as of late, however Chilastra with its 'over-saturated' PvP base as of late has been losing ground to the Rebellion if only in GCW scoring (direct PvP wise the Imperials are still dominant). Bria and Chimaera are still the dominant Imperial sided servers, with Bria Imperials controlling 51% of the scoring, and Chimaera with 63% though Talus has come under heavy pressure after the destruction of several Storm Corps bases this week and a heavy month of PvP in defense of Imperial cities.

Maybe I was too involved with TF2, maybe no one else had the level of dedication we needed to be a successful clan, maybe we didn't have a solid theme. I can spend more time rambling about the past in later posts, but for now it's time to move on.

Our next game of interest will be The Force Unleashed 2, in the hopes that not only will it have multiplayer but it will be good. Our attitude about the game will reflect the DJO days-- our primary mission is to have a casual server where people can hang out and have fun. If competition exists, whoever wishes to compete must seek my permission to form a SFOD platoon.

As for other games outside the Star Wars universe, I have no problem with forming new expedition companies if the buzz is good. We'll just need a level of dedication that we seem to lose after a few months.

For now here is the plan:
June-October 2010: Rally the old DJO/REC members who may be interested in playing TFU2play any demos that are released to verify this the game to playhave Training Guides made that discuss how to run a server, a FTP client, etc. to ...
