[NihGol]
Welcome back folks to another meeting.
[NihGol] As a change.. we are
finally doing these once again which is great to see.
[NihGol] I have a few notes to
make before stepping down to allow others to add in their reports so I shall
be as quick as possible on these.
[NihGol] First the two phases
of Senate reconstruction have happened over the last few weeks
[NihGol] Our senate now runs
solely on the Moff Council as the Emperor position is no longer in use.
[NihGol] Viceroy is a position
that is cycled, but more will be announced with Phase 3
[NihGol] Phase 3 of the Senate
revamp includes the General Assembly, voting systems and information on the
Senate and their responsibilities
[NihGol] The revamp should be
online in two weeks from today.
[NihGol] Besides the senate revamp
we have a lot of other changes headed across the board
[NihGol] Both the Navy and Army
are in the process of cleaning up and making more efficent divisions
[NihGol] The Dark Jedi is undergoing
some changes and so is the Syndicate so this should be interesting to see.
[NihGol] Several weeks ago the
Special Operations Unit has been disbanded
[NihGol] Its members have been
shifted into other divisions and theres are undisclosed ways of how SpecOps
works now
[NihGol] The Royal Guard also
has large list of changes and we wish to make this a more special, dedicated
division.
[NihGol] That is about the extent
of the summary on changes this week that I can mention
[NihGol] Now I'll hand it over
to Heinrich
[Heinrich]
Thanks sir, well this is my first report at a meeting for Ministry
of Logistics :P
[Heinrich] We have a lot to do,
a lot of organize so things should be getting on schedule
[Heinrich] I'd like to thank all
those working on getting the ministry up and running
[Heinrich] Even that Fox :O
* Heinrich snickers at `Gonk *
[Heinrich] This week, including
this meeting log, we'll have a site with more logistical information for the
FES
[Heinrich] Updates on our history..
[Heinrich] Updates on meetings,
division meetings, and so forth
[Heinrich] Thats about all for
this week, thank you.
*
NihGol nods *
[NihGol] I'll hand it now to
Peacemaker for the Ministry of Operations report.
* NihGol nods to Peacemaker *
[Peacemaker]
Thank you
[Peacemaker] Since this is the
first Meeting we have after nearly an Year, I want to give out today a small
summary about what the Ministry of Operations got in planning for the Future
[Peacemaker] Thanks to Varslaw
for adding this Informations up
[Peacemaker] For years we have
relied on doing massive changes and updates to the roster any time a division
reorganized.
[Peacemaker] This put a huge strain
on those developing the roster technology and keeping it maintained.
[Peacemaker] This would burn officers
out very quickly and leave many people struggling for changes to take place
on their division rosters.
[Peacemaker] This will happen
no more. Our goal will now be to do one large layout change for every division,
then stop doing major roster changes for the divisions.
[Peacemaker] Instead our focus
will be on developing brand new admin tools and features for senior officers
to change these functions themselves.
[Peacemaker] Credits & Awards...
[Peacemaker] We are trying to
find some interesting uses for these credits.
[Peacemaker] As well as fixing
the payment system for rewarding activity,
[Peacemaker] we want to find some
creative role playing methods for these credits or some type of key system into
special events using credits.
[Peacemaker] A poll will be put
on the web site shortly allowing everyone to select some ideas as well as a
topic on HoloNet for posting ideas we haven’t thought of.
[Peacemaker] Making new awards
and giving a purpose to them is our second top priority.
[Peacemaker] Removing Clutter...
[Peacemaker] Rage took on too
much over the years on the main web site and this resulted in his burn out.
[Peacemaker] There are way too
many things half-finished or coming soon that clutter the site’s main
features.
[Peacemaker] Our third goal will
be to remove all the clutter and start over on those projects slowly so they
are doing right.
[Peacemaker] Our goal will be
to provide you with what you need and want on the web site right away and with
lots of choices to operate with.
[Peacemaker] Critical System Priority...
[Peacemaker] Right now roster
tools and tolls for senators to operator their departments has become our main
focus.
[Peacemaker] Once these are finished
we will need to move on to other things to keep ourselves busy.
[Peacemaker] These include finishing
up many of Rage’s half finished projects and getting projects division’s
want completed up and running as fast as possible.
[Peacemaker] One of these will
be an events calendar; we are in desperate need of one to help sort events while
another is an active game server page with real-time statistics.
[Peacemaker] Help us find the
most critical systems and what interests you the most on being completed first.
[Peacemaker] Keeping Up To Date...
[Peacemaker] Our goal is to create
a more active environment for the senate, keep everyone up to date on what is
being done to help improve their gaming experience on-line.
[Peacemaker] We plan on doing
constant reports to keep everyone aware of what the operations office will have
ready for them.
[Peacemaker] With more officers
working together for the common good the more updates and systems will be up
and running for everyone.
[Peacemaker] Thanks for all those
who keep us informed on changes and please feel free to PM me on the message
boards with any roster changes...
[Peacemaker] that need to be done
before we do the tools system.
[Peacemaker] As well please advice
us on what you would like to see being added to the site and boards. Thanks
for your continued cooperation.
[Peacemaker] Hopefully this gave
everyone a small insight into our long term goals.
[NihGol]
Thanks for that report, Peacemaker
* NihGol salutes *

[NihGol]
Ok for the next report..
[NihGol] Going to hand it to
Havoc to briefly list over whats going on with the Propaganda Ministry
[Havoc] Thanks sir, well the Ministry
has been doing a lot lately
[Havoc] Lots of news is being
gathered
[Havoc] Lots of new interviews
and spotlights are being finished
[Havoc] And some new special event
styled articles are being written out as well
[Havoc] We want news to be special
on the web site once again
[Havoc] Having a reason to go
there each day and check what is going on
[Havoc] We also hope to increase
the usage of division sites with division specific news that will not display
on the main site
[Havoc] Besides the news updates
there isn't much else I can talk about yet
[Havoc] Hopefully Darksaber will
get something for next week when he can speak with the news team
[Havoc] Thats all for me
[NihGol] Thanks Admiral
[NihGol] Ok we'll hand it now
to Chigon for the Communications Ministry report
[ChiGon] Ok well since Keir isn't
here, I guess I'll briefing sum it up
[ChiGon] Communication is doing
alot better this week
[ChiGon] This meeting for one
is one thing we have been pushing to get back on track
[ChiGon] We believe it is important
for all the divisions to get together as one unit and see all the things going
on throughout the club
[ChiGon] Instead of it just being
seperated
[ChiGon] This is a great meeting
attendance again
[ChiGon] 94 people, very nice
to see
[ChiGon] Goals for the future
will be increasing the message board usage
[ChiGon] And looking for ways
on how to improve communications
[ChiGon] Maybe changing the boards?
Up to you folks
[ChiGon] Some polls should be
going on next week for that
[ChiGon] Keir is usally on during
the day so if you have questions about the ministry, please speak to him on
it
[ChiGon] Thats about all I can
say on communications
[ChiGon] Thanks for your time
[NihGol] Ok thanks Chigon for
that report
[NihGol] And last senate report
tonight is Academics
[NihGol] So we'll turn that over
to Mace
* NihGol bows to Mace *
[Mace] Thanks NihGol
[Mace] First of all, this report
will be short because I just moved to a new house and I just got internet back
today
[Mace] but the Academics department
does have some projects that we are working on
[Mace] First, Deady, who is my
attatche, is working on a site for us.
[Mace] I haven't seen it yet,
but knowing Deady, it'll be a very well designed site
[Mace] Second, we are moving
to implement a more stringent way of weeding out those recruits that hang around
for a week
[Mace] We'll be having a general
knowledge FES test, where the answers to the questions can be found on the main
site
[Mace] the rationale is that
if a recruit spends time looking up the answers, then it's more likely that
he or she will be more active than your average recruit
[Mace] And finally, due to the
fact that I haven't had internet and Xed is out due to personal reasons,
[Mace] this hasn't been discussed
much, but I would like to work closely with the security ministry to try and
keep FES as spy free as possible
[Mace] ok, i lied that wasn't
the last thing
[Mace] We also would like to
propose giving the academics ministry full roster control,
[Mace] because as we all know
many of our officers are always busy and don't have time to place our recruits
[Havoc]
Sounds like a great idea
[Mace]
Deady and I think that we should work closely with the division
officers and place recruits into platoons, squads etc.
[Mace] and then the COs can place
the recuirts accordingly if they aren't happy
[Mace] ok, and that's all from
academics
[NihGol]
Ok thanks Mace
[NihGol] Well that is it for
the Senate, we'll go through the division reports next.
[NihGol] For the Shadow Army report...
Matok?
* Matok nods *
[Matok] Thanks and welcome back
everyone to another weekly meeting.
[Matok] I know we haven’t
had these in a long time so it’s great to see everyone at these again.
[Matok] Well we got a bit of
a summed up Shadow Army report the last few weeks so hold on to your hats...
helmets... sabers... well whatever.
[Matok] First things first, couple
of positions have been changed....
[Matok] I’d like to personally
announce Moff Mole has come out of retirement and will be taking over as Executive
Officer of the Shadow Army once more.
[Matok] Surface Marshal Ashar
has had a good stint as Executive Officer but will now be moved in as an advisor
as he is rarely on these days.
[Matok] Next change is the creation
of a Training Officer.
[Matok] I know some of you guys
have been bugging Briors to get training changes done but he is just too occupied
at the moment.
[Matok] Instead Lieutenant Colonel
Taskman will be taking over Army training duties. If you need a squad he is
the man to see.
[Matok] Now that those position
changes are laid out, we have a few rank promotions as well over the last few
weeks...
[Matok] (This is the part I always
hate typing =P)
[Matok] Dymono has been promoted
to Staff Sergeant
[Matok] Mordann has been promoted
to 1st Sergeant
[Matok] Sherior has been promoted
to Staff Sergeant
[Matok] Phalk has been promoted
to Sergeant
[Matok] Kcerjin has been promoted
to 1st Sergeant
[Matok] Katarn has been promoted
to Sergeant
[Matok] Hotwire has been promoted
to Staff Sergeant
[Matok] Ionmouth has been promoted
to Sergeant Major
[Matok] Scoot promoted to 2nd
Lieutenant
[Matok] Slicer has been promoted
to 2nd Lieutenant
[Matok] Inferno has been promoted
to Sergeant Major
[Matok] Plotkin has been promoted
to 2nd Lieutenant
[Matok] We have also messed with
the roster a few times this week as well.
[Matok] Following a few trainee
concerns about speed of training, besides the promotion of a new training officer
we will be setting up two squads.
[Matok] These are older squads
we shut down and will be reforming this week.
[Matok] Several members have
already volunteered to fill those positions to allow some of the older squads
to gain new members.
[Matok] Special thanks to Expedite
and Sherior for your work on setting that up.
[Matok] Next... War Game are a
big part of the Army life now and we have been doing some massive events this
week with them.
[Matok] For older records on
war games please see the Shadow Army site at www.shadow-army.com.
[Matok] If we are missing any
details, have incorrect details or haven’t finished awards for winners...
[Matok] please see me after the
meeting or send me a private message.
[Matok] Battlefront II is scheduled
for November 1st... so get it! If you don’t.. tough luck as all Battlefront
I servers are being turned into Battlefront II.
[Matok] As well Empire At War
comes out February 11th... if you like RTS’ you’ll love that game.
* Matok breathes *
[Matok] That’s about it
for the Army, thanks.
[NihGol]
Thanks Matok
[NihGol] ReJind for the Black
Sword Report?
[ReJind]
Ah yes
[ReJind] Well this is going to
be a bit short, we'll put more info up on the web site.
[ReJind] It seems Reaper fell
asleep on us again :P
[ReJind] Anyhow,
[ReJind] Headlines I guess you
could call it are the following:
[ReJind] Problems with a former
Ally of the past (outside of SWG) are slowly getting worse now.
[ReJind] Xedlan and Veers are
handling the situation so we'll have to wait and see how this goes.
[ReJind] Right now Navy Command
won't deal with this issue, its a bottom level situation right now.
[ReJind] Second..
[ReJind] We have several large
events this week
[ReJind] One is a race through
endor.. scout troopers only.
[ReJind] We want to film this
and do some interesting RP
[ReJind] We will hide items throughout
endor, your job is to find it in teams of two.
[ReJind] First team back with
the items wins.
[ReJind] Another event we are
going consists of a guildwar between three Storm Corp guilds
[ReJind] Its going to be messy,
so watch it =P
[ReJind] And..
[ReJind] We disbanded our security
units last week
[ReJind] And restarted a new unit,
Dk-II
[ReJind] You can read about DK-II
at http://dept.blackswordfleet.com/dk-ii
[ReJind] Thats about all this
week from me
[ReJind] Thank you.
[NihGol]
Thanks Admiral
* NihGol salutes *
[NihGol] Ok now to the Dark Jedi
report
[NihGol] Which I believe.... Markus
is doing?
*
Markus nods *
[Markus] Good evening Gentlemen
(and ladies). This is my first meeting, and my first as Operations Officer for
the Dark Jedi Order.
[Markus] As many of you undoubtedly
know, Malcontent has recently resigned as Dark Jedi Master.
[Markus] Majjuin-Cloud, formerly
XO, has been promoted and is now the CO of the DJO.
[Markus] Under Malcontent's reign,
the government of the DJO was run by a Council of high ranking Jedi Officers
who oversaw all events within the Order.
[Markus] This has been changed
under the new administration. The Council has been disbanded.
[Markus] The DJO is now governed
by 3 people and an advisor, the CO, the XO and the OO, with Rage.
[Markus] The rationale behind
this is there were too many people who needed to be brought together to make
decisions.
[Markus] We can now quickly and
thoroughly address issues within the Order with little to no notice.
[Markus] Our rank system has also
recently changed.
[Markus] Before, we had an expanded
rank system which was much like the Army or the Navy. This has been reorganized
into less categories:
[Markus] Master, Knight, Apprentice.
[Markus] The higher carrying
more responsiblity and assigned to look after the lower and more inexperienced.
[Markus] Onto activity!
[Markus] We have no games to play!
[Markus] It may sound funny,
but it's true.
[Markus] The most recent addition
to the "Jedi" themed games is Jedi Academy,
[Markus] which, despite what
some people will tell you, is a step back from Jedi Outcast, it's predecessor.
[Markus] It is our plan to reach
out into other themed games, but it will take us time or organize and to fit
it into our "Dark Jedi" theme.
[Markus] I believe that is all.
* Markus nods *
[NihGol]
Thanks for that report
[NihGol] Ok now we'll head into
the Corporate Univeral report
* NihGol bows to Affinity *
[NihGol] Least I think Affinity
is doing it >.>
*
Affinity flexs *
[Affinity] Thank you =)
* Affi|SWG nods. *
* Affi|SWG prepares you all for spam. *
[Affinity] It's been a while...
>.<... so I'll summarize as much as possible.
[Affinity] With the recent incorporation
of a small guild into CU, our organization on Eclipse has gained a city, in
addition to our long-standing place on Lok.
[Affinity] Located on Dantooine,
our additional city is beginning to thrive and serve a meaningful purpose:
[Affinity] a central location
to level up our Soldiers for future assistance in the GCW.
[Affinity] Since the Combat Upgrade,
some members have departed our ranks, and some have joined up as well.
[Affinity] The Upgrade was not
taken lightly by any account, but was (overall) embraced by CU.
[Affinity] Several members have
unlocked their Jedi profession, and are continuing down the path of the Force.
[Affinity] I myself have started
an enterprise dubbed "FuTu Inc." and have been very successful with
it...
[Affinity] so much in fact, I'm
currently taking a break from it due to excessive demand.
[Affinity] Over the past several
months, the guild has become completely self-reliant, with every profession
available covered for it's members needs.
[Affinity] CU has also plays a
vital part in keeping our home planet under Imperial control.
[Affinity] Over the period of
a few days of constant infiltration not too long ago, we managed to retain and
sustain a leading presence with our team of base crushers and support.
[Affinity] Tight structuralization
has become a priority of mine as CU continues to grow past the 110 member mark.
[Affinity] Roster updates and
member activity is checked and updated regularly,
[Affinity] and Officers have
been put into official roles based on what they give to CU and their long-standing
loyalty to the organization.
[Affinity] With the newest expansion
(Rage Of The Wookiees), the game now offers a lot of new content and group-based
activity,
[Affinity] which has strengthened
CU's member base beyond that of just it's solo aspects.
[Affinity] Our latest adventures
happen frequently on Kashyyyk, in the instanced dungeons.
[Affinity] This provides a much-needed
and challanging way of keeping our organization close and friendship-based.
[Affinity] Although PvP is not
as prominant as it was pre-Upgrade, CU still holds onto one of the best-kept
collection of Imperial bases on the server.
[Affinity] This is something
we're very proud of. :)
[Affinity] Long-term goals on
the PvP front include cooperation and assistance with several other Imperial
Guilds to rid our Galaxy of the Rebellion.
[Affinity] Strategical implimentations
and reconnassiance is in the works.
[Affinity] Ventrilo (voice server
application) continues to be a main source of communication between our members,
[Affinity] and also builds up
a relativly tangable means of conversing with each other, seconded only by our
lively (well, usually insane) guildchat.
[Affinity] Smurg continues to
be an excellent (although corrupted >.>) Mayor of Semper Fidelis, and
Lykazie is managing our second city very nicely.
[Affinity] Each of their layouts
has proven to exceed my expetations on many levels.
[Affinity] Museum and Memorial
setups are in the works, as I continue to work on the layouts and decoration/location
ideas for these.
[Affinity] Dedication ceremonies
and opening times will be posted at a later date. Any imput on this matter can
be directed straight to myself.
[Affinity] Expansion and immersion
into roles as Soldiers and members of the Empire is something myself and Peacemaker
will be working on,
[Affinity] to provide an active
participation in PvP as well as roleplaying.
[Affinity] And since these meetings
will be occuring more often now, I will be sure to encourage all in-game members
to attend them
[Affinity] as much as possible
to keep in contact with not only their Guild, but the larger organization that
they belong to as well.
[Affinity] Any concerns, questions,
or otherwise can be posted in the Corporate Universal forums on Holonet, and
they will be answered right away. :)
[Affinity] Thank you all for
your time... and now Smurg will give us a City update.
[Smurg]
Hehe thanks
[Smurg] Ok, going to give everyone
a chance to read it over first
[Smurg] Hehe ok,
[Smurg] Well this is a brief
list of some things we are working on with the cities
[Smurg] The Developers are releasing
the ability to "house pack" your furnished house in a few weeks
[Smurg] This will allow for structures
to be pulled up and moved without having to empty the house first
[Smurg] What this change means
for us is that an activity wipe is also coming on the servers.
[Smurg] What is being proposed
by the Dev team is to have all buildings longer then a year with no active accounts..
to have their buildings "house packed"
[Smurg] This may or may not be
a problem for us to hold our citizen levels to keep our rating, but it is something
to think about.
[Smurg] We currently have almost
100 citizens in Semper Fidelis, and 56 in Dark Haven
[Smurg] Also being listed..
[Smurg] LyKazie has been hard
at work touching up the layout at Dark Haven
[Smurg] This includes some new
merchant tents
[Smurg] Hopefully at some point
we can fill those up with some merchant gear from both members and neutral residents
of DH
[Smurg] and create a new little
merchant hub in the area
[Smurg] This is important as
the revamp has caused a lot of the older malls to disappear
[Smurg] and people are constantly
looking for new sources of vendors
[Smurg] Thats about all I can
think of at the moment with cities, thanks =)
* Smurg tags Affinity *
[Affinity]
Thanks Smurg. =)
[Affinity] I think that about
sums up things for this week.
* Affinity salutes and steps down. *
[NihGol]
Thanks for that report.
* NihGol salutes Affinity *
[NihGol] I think that is all the
reports for this week...I'll say that now as I doubt there is a report for the
Syndicate..
[NihGol] Thanks for the great
attendance today
[NihGol] And looking forward to
everything that seems to be going on, good show everyone.
* NihGol steps down and falls asleep on the
podium. *
